I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. My work examines how artificial intelligence and digital media shape communication and society.
I earned my PhD in Communication Studies at the University of the Punjab in 2023 and was a Research Scholar at Harvard University in 2022. Before joining KIMEP, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sharjah (2024–2026) and taught at the University of Management and Technology (2018–2024).
Alongside my research, I teach research methods and data analysis, supervise graduate research, and lead workshops on NVivo and MAXQDA. Through Doctor Square, I share practical learning resources with students and researchers.
